Welcome!
The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association was created in 1964 to promote health, prevent disease and provide home health, public health and hospice services to residents of the Yampa Valley. VNA serves a large rural area - 6,702 square miles of rugged, sparsely populated terrain with 27,000 people living in six incorporated towns and seventeen hamlets. The spectrum of services and programs of the VNA start before birth and touch every part of life. A simple goal of improving the quality of life in our region regardless of age, race, religion, sex, handicap, sexual orientation or ability to pay is behind every program. The Northwest Colorado VNA is a United Way agency, staffed by dedicated teams of professional caregivers: nurses, certified home health aides, homemakers, personal care providers, medical social workers, dietitians, parent advocates, and physical, occupational and speech therapists, support staff and eligibility technicians. Our full spectrum of care from birth to death includes the following:
